Best of New Zealand Hunting and Game Bird Shooting is based in Christchurch: South Island: New Zealand. It consists of arguably the best hunting, bird shooting and fishing experts New Zealand has to offer. Read about our Guides. We specialise in free range and fair chase trophy hunts after New Zealand, Australian, and New Caledonian big game species, ten NZ waterfowl and upland bird species, numerous small game quarry, plus  trout, salmon and kahawai.

Our season runs twelve months of the year, with angling, bird shooting, and hunting often running concurrently. The main New Zealand hunting season begins in February and goes through to September with the fishing season going from October to May. The best months for our Australian safaris is the dry season: July to October, while the rusa stag rut in New Caledonia is July to September. Credibility is what we thrive on.
